Players begin by sitting around a table. The first player starts by splitting the deck roughly in half and then taking the next available card. Then the deck is passed around the table for each player to do the same thing so each player has one card.
The player with the lowest card must drink two drinks and is "out"of play for the remainder of the game. He will however continue to drink. The play for the next round continues, except this time the player out must take four drinks, as well as the previous loser.
Each round all losers must indulge in the drink requirements for that round where each round the drinks are incremented by two each time as follows:
Round 1: 2
Round 2: 4
Round 3: 6
And so on ..
Note that at the end of Round 3 the loser of Round 1 will have had 12 (6+4+2) drinks.
Play continues until only one player remains, and is determined the winner.
Play is most enjoyable as the number of players increase therefore prolonging the game with more rounds.
