Well, it was Friday, two weeks ago. I just got off work at 11 and went to my buddies house to play catch up. After several shots of fire water and little bit of JD, and of course some beers we decided it was time to go do some doughnuts in the field by his house. Two cars went out, my truck and one of my buddies mustangs. We were having a great time, getting crazy lots of doughnuts, until the mustang got stuck. Well, since I have a truck I thought I push him out. Wrong answer. I got stuck right behind him. After many attempts of pushing the vehicles out, we decided it was time to get some more beer and say fuck the cars for awhile. We went back to the house and drank a few more beers and called a tow truck. The tow truck got their and couldn't get us out, he said he had to call the police because we were on private property. GREAT. Police show up, look at all of the empties laying around and asking us if we've been drinking, of course we all say no. He says he's trying real hard to believe it, but he just can't. My friend Jason decided he would tell the cop that he should have a beer and calm down. needless to say Jason got cuffed and stuffed for public intox. Luckily, neither of the vehicles were his. The cop calls another towing company with a skid loader to get us both out. That ran us $230. After we get out an go to the store and buy some more beer another friend with a brand new mustang shows up. I talk him into letting me drive his car. Everything was great for about 45 minutes, there was three of us just tooling around some gravel roads. I decided that I would see what this car would do around a corner from a dead stop. Car 3 needs to be towed. I put his car in the ditch between the railroad tracks and the road. You would think that the lesson from that night would be to be a cautious drinker, that is not what I got from it. The lesson I learned was: If you must drink and drive, do it in someone else's car.
