My first true Drunken binder!
Date Added: 2000-10-05

Well, I know maybe it’s not all that unique, but I thought I would tell you about my first true drunken binder. Drinking can be dangerous. The way I see though is that anyone can puke all the alcohol out of his system, but it takes a real man to let it filter through their system.

Freshman year, York College....Picture the scene. A bueatiful fall night. The cool night air kissing the skin. A case of beer, some wine, and misscelanious other alcoholic beverages. Oh sure, I had always snuck a drink or two here and there growing up, but this night, I would go way too far.

It was a small gathering. Five, including myself. We were all off campus, since this was after all a small private Christian college. Well, I’m sure we all know the old adage about beer and wine...I’m here to tell you it’s BS. Either way you mix them makes you ill. oF the 24 beers drank that night, at least 18 were drank by me. Along with wine and some sort of shots. I faintly remember crawling for the last beer out of the fridge since everyone else had either left or gone to sleep. I sat and watched Beavis and Butt-Head and slowly the universe and all of it’s profound wisdom opened up before me as the alcohol flowed through my viens. Everything wash making sense. Cornholio was a reprensentation of inner angst...The Lisa Leob video had profound depth and feeling. I passed out shortly their after. Whatever wisdom that was imparted to me that night was replaced the excrutiating pain of a hangover. This was no ordinary hangover. This was a hangover that comes from having nearly poisonious levels of alcohol in your blood stream. I missed a week of classes because I could only muster enough strength walk across the street to the cafeteria and eat one meal a day. Okay, not the most amazing story, but is was a wonderful experience.
