The 24-hr Hardees that we frequent from time to time is more commonly know to us as "The Freak Show", mainly because of the freaks that work the night shift there. Well it was a Thursday night, and Matt, Jeremy, Scott, and myself had all left one of the local bars and made our way across the street to Freak Show. I had to piss bad so I headed to the bathroom. Before I had even came out of the bathroom, Matt had been told to leave out for throwing a pitcher (which he took from the bar) of ice at "Mrs. Troll" (named for physical similarities), one of the night shift crew. Well Matt walked outside and came right back in. I was in line when I see Matt go into the bathroom with Scott, and hear the bathroom being tore apart. The line was not the only ones to hear it, as Mrs. Troll waddled around the corner and saw those guys come out. She yelled to the manager that we have a situation in the bathroom, and those guys took off out the door. Well I ate my food and made it back to the dorm. Once back at the dorm, Matt wasn’t there yet so I asked Scott where he was. Scott told me that Matt pushed one of the emergency buttons, so he took off running and didn’t know where Matt went. A few minutes later, Matt came in all shitfaced and emotional because he got a 100 dollar ticket for minor consumption. Apparently after Matt pushed the first emergency button he ran till he came to the emergency button by our dorm (which is in plain sight from every direction) and pushed it too. A cop stumbled upon Matt and questioned him about it. Matt gave him some bullshit story and the cop gave him the ticket. He was definitely lucky that he didn’t get the ticket for pushing the emergency button too, which is about 300 bucks. |
